ASEGUIM (Asociación Ecuatoriana de Guías de Montaña) is an Ecuadorian mountain rescue and guide association. The Ecuadorian Association of Mountain Guides (ASEGUIM) has approximately 100 certified members. These members include high mountain guides, trekking guides, and specialized rescue guides. ASEGUIM’s members have undergone rigorous training and certification programs to ensure safety and professionalism in mountaineering and rescue activities in Ecuador.
At the moment, the Association brings together 160 tourism professionals, including those who have the international UIAGM certification, the national diploma for aspiring guides or Aseguim guides, and those who are in the training process within the ESGUIM School of Mountain Guides.
